“Nottinghamshire Police Mobile Migration Project

Nottinghamshire Police were migrating to a new network provider and our fleet of BlackBerry devices were locked to our old network. UnlockData were recommended to us by our new network. As our first port date was fast approaching we were unwilling to rely on our previous network to provide the unlock codes and because the majority of the devices were used operationally we needed a high level of support to ensure that any issues that users experienced were quickly resolved.

After discussing our requirements and timescales with UnlockData, we placed an initial order to unlock over 800 BlackBerry devices. Their costs were very competitive.

We were highly impressed at the speed of the service having regard to the large number of devices we had to unlock. The codes were received within just a few hours.

As many of our officers are field based and spread over a number of stations, the UnlockData support team were invaluable to the project as they provided simple instructions and were able to offer end user support by phone and email should our officers have required it.

We are delighted to report that all the Unlock codes were accepted, in fact, we did not have 1 handset that failed the process! Extremely positive feedback has been received from our officers who had asked UnlockData to guide them through the unlocking process on their professional and helpful manner and understanding of the process even outside normal working hours.

We have subsequently placed further successful orders with UnlockData, altogether totalling 1700 BlackBerry devices.

The project was a complete success and based upon our experience I would not hesitate to recommend UnlockData to any one looking to unlock a mobile phone.
